  • unlabeled - possible bug with changing masters

This may be a known issue, or a one off but it has caused me a bit of a problem.  I had a single master file set to background. Created a new page and applied this master. Whilst constructing the page realised I needed it to be longer. Made a copy of the master, renamed it and applied it to the page I was working on. It seemed to ...

  • generate specification in landscape with big images?

I'd like to know if there's a way to export the specification document so it's formatted horizontally in landscape, but the column for the images takes up more of the page. Something like 2/3 vs 1/2 as it is now.

  • Error message in specification: 'Converter failed to save file'

Greetings, I am new to Axure, and this is my first post. I am having difficulties generating a specification document and get the above error message. Somehow I have been able to generate a few documents in the past, so it does not seem to happen all the time, but I can't locate the root of the problem. I also have not been able to export the ...

  • Managing repeating Elements (Masters, Widgets) in Word Specifiactions

Is there a way to achieve that every master and widget shows up only ONCE in the specifiactions (most properly the dirst time it is beeing used in a page)?   Right now, I get a 100+ pages  MS Word specification sheet which consists of 80% repeating pages, because every time a master or widget is used on a page, it gets included ...

  • Re: Suggestions for Future Releases

My wish for the next release :-) Cause I have to write quite detailed specifications:  Ad "Position and Size" of the widget in "Generate Specification" similar to "Widget Text" Would be really great. Hermann

  • Master Widget Text in spec. documentation

Hi, I'm using the OnPageLoad event to dynamicaly change a master's widget text I use in many pages (like a view title for instance). It works nicely when I generate prototypes but unfotunately not as I wish in specifications (It does not replace the widget text on the page screenshot). Is there an option I missed to do this ...

  • Styling a word template so that Axure can generate a nice specification

Hi there, I'm trying to generate a specification using my companies standard Word template, but the results are bad formatting, particularly on the tables containing the annotated notes.  I seems that the Word template i'm using doesn't have table layouts defined, so Axure doesn't know how to style them.  Does anyone know ...

  • Automically include text from widgets into specification

Hi, We regularly generate specifications that are then used by copywriters to write the text for all interface elements (headlines, copytext, buttons, links etc.). Unfortunately, the text that has been written into the widgets and that is displayed in the prototype is not available in the specification. In order to provide these texts as input ...

  • Any way to include revison number in either prototype or spec?

In my ongoing quest to find an efficient sign-off process, my thoughts have turned to the specifications and their ability to create a printed document tha can be signed-off by the client. The one thing that's missing, that I can tell, is what revision of the project we are in when the specification is generated. I know we can edit the spec ...
