  • Re: Suggestions for Future Releases

Hi, I've been using Axure RP Pro for a few years constantly, (I've used several other prototyping applications as well). I also teach Axure RP Pro throughout Europe through a company called: www.axtrainers.com, (we worked with Axure to get our training materials up-to scratch). I'm increasingly working on RIA applications and have ...

  • Re: Suggestions for Future Releases

From my colleagues at Fortune 500 companies, I hear the following suggestions, which I endorse.  1. ADD WIDGETS : : Please consider adding more widgets that accept pseudo-code:spinner widgetcarousel widgetdate widgetslider widgetaccordion widgets2. FACILITY FOR STRIPPING GENERATED DEPRECATED HTML : : Offer a script that will strip ...

  • Modifying the HTML/CSS of a generated prototype

One of my colleagues asked if it were possible to modify the HTML and CSS of a generated prototype. It appears you can indeed modify it - however, if you do modify the code and then for whatever reason need to go back to the .rp file and make additional changes and regenerate the file do you then lose the manual modifications?

  • Re: CSS

I think that it would a boon for designers who iterate in Axure to be able to apply CSS style sheets (inline or external) to their designs. The built-in Style Editor is somewhat limited in its scope, including its prospective-only behavior. I hope that CSS support is moving up the backlog list. Best regards, Paul Turner

Hey Michiel, did you find the "Style Editor" under the "Wireframe" menu? Maybe will this thread make things clear for you: http://axure.com/cs/forums/thread/3755.aspx

  • Bulleted lists need extra space below them?

It seems that if I format a text block as a bullet list, I need to open up an arbitrary amount of space beneath it or the list will overlap the text (or other object) below it.  Is this is a known issue? If so, is there a fix? When working with long lists of bullets it means I have to adjust the layout by trial and error until it looks right ...

  • Liquid layouts and CSS

This most likely falls under the banner of a Feature Request but it seems a lot of people are asking for the ability to use their own XHTML/CSS templates for development purposes. I understand that this is not a simple request based on how Axure builds pages but accessibility and the need for validating prototypes is growing steadily. I can ...

  • More suggestions

Hi, I would like to suggest two more things, this time regarding the HTML prototype tool. 1. Some of my wireframes are in Hebrew. As such, the text in them is RTL of course. While working on my wireframe, and when exporting to image there is no problem and everything is great. But when I export as HTML, if there is a mix of English and Hebrew ...

  • Formatting of frameset

I am trying to format the no-so-nice looking Axure default frameset. I cannot figure out where I change the a:visited CSS that makes the light greyish background on elements/pages that have been visited. That backgound does not look good if you have changed the colour for the columns. I'd also like to manipulate the lowest frame border.

  • Feature Request- Custom Layout of widgets

Today I'm designing a web application. A styleguide with designpatterns was supplied by our customer. Unfortunately the look-and-feel of your widgets (text field, text area, droplist etc) can't be customized so that I'm not able to meet our customers needs. I've read several post dealing with css. I don't think that it is necessary to implement ...
