i was just searching for the same option. i do not need the footnote-symbol on the screenshot if there is no annotation filled. a checkbox "remove footnote-icon with no data in annotations" would be great :)

Is it possible to get unique number for annotations in a prototype? If not is there any other way of writing specifications in the prototype and to get a unique identifier? I know it is possible to use labels but I do not want to add the numbers myself (or remember which has been used).
