Changing the radius on the corner for rounded rectangle

Im new to using Axure. This might be a silly question to some of you.

Does anyone know how to change the radius of the rounded rectangle? The standard size is huge.

    Thanks

    Will

    Hi Will,

Unfortunately, there is not a way to change the radius of the rounded rectangle. We are planning to add more control over the shapes in a future release. In the meantime, you could create the shape in a graphics tool and copy and paste it into Axure RP.

If you guys used Gecko of Webkit as your rendering engine you could easily as corner radius is part of the CSS3 spec and both these engines implement it quite well. :)

There is a bit of a workaround that I've implemented before.  Rather than use the rounded rectangle, use three different widgets: 1 rectangle and 2 button shapes on either end.  Since the radius of button shapes only increases when expanded in the corresponding direction (e.g. width expansion for buttons set to rounded on the left or right).  Check the attachment for a better explanation.
