Hi,

I recently changed my default browser from firefox to chrome. My system (Windows XP) and many other applications fully understand this. However, axure keeps opening Firefox when I render a prototype. Highly annoying because opening Firefox takes some time on my PC.

What can I do to point axure to the right browser?

Hi Floris, that's strange. Maybe a restart will clear it up, but Axure RP should be opening up the same browser as the browser that opens when you double-click on an html file. Does chrome open when you double-click on an html file?

Thanks for the reply. A restart does not change anything. When I execute a .html file windows launches the right browser. All html files show up as chrome icons, so my file-associations appear to be ok. Its just Axure. 

I understand from your reply that Axure does not store its own file associations? Maybe in the registry?

I believe it's using the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\html setting in the registry.

This was indeed the problem. For some reason my file associations were messed up.
"URL" Default browser was Chrome, .HTM default browser was IE and .HTML default browser was Firefox. :-S

Everything is fine now :)
