Hi

I am surprised I cannot figure this one out, but I am using the Mac version of Axure, version number 5.6, and have inserted a Menu item.  I have then set up the menu successfully and defined a selected style.

However, for the life of me I can't figure out how I can set which navigation item should be selected.  I have looked in Page Interactions to set the OnPageLoad event, but there is nothing in there about menus.

And I have looked in the tutorial section and I can't find anything there other than how to set the selected item for a tree.

Can someone please help?

Ok, not sure if this is in the Mac Alpha, but in the Windoze version, you'd do the following:

 Make sure you give each menu item a Label in the Annotations & Interactions panel

Create an OnPageLoad event using the Set Widget to Selected State, and choose the menu item you want selected.

It should do what you tell it.

Unfortunately, this will not be reflected in spec output.  

Hi lowelife, I think in 5.6 this does (or should) get reflected in the spec now. It used to only apply dynamic panel related actions, but now it should respond to that action too.

Looks like you found a bug in the Mac alpha. It should be listing each of the menu items there, but it's not. We'll work on a fix for that.
