One thing that might be helpful to you is the Dynamic Panel Manager (View->Dynamic Panel Manager). You can hide the dynamic panels from view that are covering up other widgets so they are out of the way.

A nice improvment to my workflow would be to use last import where the import would use all the same setting on the same file I previously imported. I tend to work on a particular module and continually go though the import process selecting certain options. It would ber nice if I could just select last import and it would do it.

I would love to see some sort of integration with a ticketing system. 'User Experiences' would be broken down into developer build projects which would then export/import and embed the requirements and screenshots into tickets.

Also would be good to have a library of usable 'case conditions'.

Here are my suggestions for the future Axure release:

 

1. Most important - ability to search in the Interaction Case Proporties list.
Example:
I want to set an OnClick event for a button.
I want it to set a certain panel to a certain state (or just show/hide it).
When I get to the stage where I need to select the panel - I get lost - I have hundreds of different panels - and even if they are all proporly named - I still spend 3-4 minutes looking up the specific panel/widget. Same problem accurs when selecting a panel/widget for a Condition.
I hope you understood my explanation, since currently this is my biggest time waster.

2. Rulers - I use Axure and Photoshop a lot.
One of the simplest yet very handy tools I use on photoshop are the rulers, which help a lot in all related to layout and sizing.
I miss this feature on Axure and would love to see it. See image attached.

3. Load images/items that are used more then once from a single location.
Basically, I'd like to have a default IMAGES folder, so when I'm adding an image - I'm first offered to use any of the images already found in the IMAGES folder, or choose from a different location. If I choose a file from a different location it will be automatically added to the IMAGES folder so I can reuse it. Keeping the file's original name is a big plus too, since a specific file will be easily located in the IMAGES folder (I have hundreds of different images).
Pros:
- e.g. My client has decided to change all the icons in the project to a new set of icons. Currently, I have to spend hours going over the hundreds of location in the project and manually changing every single icon to a new one. Hopefully, in Axure's future release, I'll be able to just go to the IMAGES folder and swap all the icons for a new set with each icon having the same name - and this process shouldn't take more then 10 minutes.
- It seems to me that this will have good effect on speeding up prototype generation and file size.

4. This is not a must, but I'd be really glad if Axure had dragNdrop functionality (like on igoogle.com's homepage). 

 

Another great feature would be the ability to control panels which are located on a different page.

I find myself missing this feature quite a lot. 

Another useful feature:

OnLoad event for dynamic panels.

 

I stumble upon this a lot - simplest example is tabs - I want to set focus on a specific widget in a specific tab when it opens - currently I cannot.

I want to emphasize this feature suggestion - its absence takes away so much of my time.

Or, instead of making me identify the widget by name, let me just click on the thing I want to select in the editor. Chances are, I'm looking right at it. It would be even better if things that were selectable could be highlighted when in that mode.

I think it would be great if I could weld shapes together in Axure (like you can in Adobe Illustrator) to make custom shapes and apply an event to the one shape - since you can't apply events to groups of objects.

I've seen it a couple of times in this thread and I fully agree on the accordion widget. The math of moving panels and setting them to the right state is an absolute headache and makes unreadable cases. The alternative of making a panel with all the right appearences of the harmonica makes the axure file slow to load and pasting all the actions at the slightest change easily goes wrong.
