Axure (ak shûr), founded in May 2002, is a privately held software development company based in sunny San Diego, CA. Our flagship product Axure RP is a wireframing, prototyping and specification tool that helps user experience professionals, business analyst and product managers design applications and web sites.

The pilot version of Axure RP was released in January 2003 and was one of the first of its kind designed specifically to prototype browser-based applications. Six years later Axure RP is in its fifth major release and being used by over half of the Fortune 100 and thousands of small and medium businesses around the world.

What makes our company unique is less about what we do and more about how we do it. We are lucky to have a team of talented and passionate people that hate bad software, love people and think anything is possible.
